About Hype Law

This time, we sat down with Mailys and Stephanie, the founders of Hype Law, a 100% female law firm specialized in intellectual property.

More than just “IP lawyers”, they position themselves as strategic partners for creatives, entrepreneurs and industry leaders who understand that protecting ideas means protecting the future.

In this conversation, we talked about what makes them similar (and different), why intellectual property felt like the obvious path, and whether being a fully female firm was a deliberate statement or something that happened naturally.

We also discussed the reality of the legal world today: the pressure of billable hours, the “always available” culture, and why many women leave the profession before reaching leadership positions. Are they doing things differently at Hype Law? And if so, how?
